As a Business Intelligence Education Financing Intern, you will be part of the Education Technical Assistance Facility (ETAF) team and be responsible for supporting the team with research, compilation and analysis of data to increase the impact and effectiveness of ETAF work in Latin America.This is an unpaid internship based in London.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Carry out market research on affordable private Education Finance sector in Latin America select countries.
  • Build a core module that structures and defines the main characteristics of Education Finance market in the selected region.
  • Conduct analysis and data assessment to make findings of key aspects that could impact and improve ETAF activity in the region.
  • Make and propose recommendations that align market research results with ETAF core activity, mission and vision.
  • Support ongoing project management and coordination to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be based in London.
  • Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program.
  • Must be seeking a degree in a field relevant to international development, development/economics/finance/business administration or similar disciplines.
  • Have previous contact with academic studies on market research, or empirical experience related to the activity and/or the matter required.
  • Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.

LANGUAGE

  • Candidate must be able to attend and conduct meetings in both English and Spanish

CAPSTONE PROJECT
Latin America Education Finance Market Research - Latin America Education Finance market research will compile official, credible and updated information related to the private affordable education sector in the region, adding detailed and newest information to ETAF current database. This report should aim to dig into the market to make findings in trends and innovations. Similarly, the report should content proposals and recommendations that could add value to ETAF future deployment in the region.
